PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) - The brother of a justice on the Rhode Island Supreme Court has been killed in a stabbing in Pawtucket.

Court spokesman Craig Berke (BER’-kee) tells Rhode Island Public Radio (https://bit.ly/1KNCvRk ) that 53-year-old William McKenna is the younger brother of Supreme Court Justice Maureen McKenna Goldberg.

He was stabbed outside a convenience store in Pawtucket on Tuesday.

McKenna was taken to Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are still looking for the suspect.

Berke said he did not have further details.

McKenna Goldberg has sat on the five-member court since 1997.
