ERIE, Pa. (AP) - A northwestern Pennsylvania man has been charged with impersonating a public servant by pretending to be a police officer in order to get free sex from a woman he met through a Craigslist ad.
Thirty-eight-year-old Raymond Sisson Jr., of Millcreek Township, declined comment Thursday.
The Erie Times-News (https://bit.ly/19cgiyS ) says township police charged Sisson Tuesday in connection with an incident Jan. 3 at a residence.
That’s where police say Sisson met the woman, who had arranged to have sex with him for money.
Instead, police say Sisson showed up wearing a shirt with a badge, a gun, and handcuffs, and claimed to be a township officer.
Police say Sisson told the woman he would arrest her if she didn’t have sex with him for free. They traced him through a cell phone number he gave the woman.
