TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - Police in Tacoma say a man has been arrested for investigation of first-degree murder in the stabbing death of a 19-year-old man whose body was found in a Tacoma ravine earlier this week.

The News Tribune reports (https://is.gd/huLPuP ) that police spokeswoman Loretta Cool offered no details about Friday’s arrest. The man is expected in court next week.

The remains of Jesus Isidor-Mendoza were found Monday in a wooded area that police say is frequented by transients.

He was last seen Oct. 22 leaving his mother’s home to attend a class at Pierce College.

The Pierce County medical examiner’s office says he died of a stab wound to the neck.
