MAQUOKETA, Iowa (AP) - A Maquoketa man says three armed men who broke into his home robbed him of money, drugs and the jeans he was wearing at the time.

Police say the men entered Jeremy Naderman’s residence on Sunday night baring handguns. Naderman tells police that the men assaulted him and stole $3,000, marijuana, his wallet and some clothing, including the pants he had on.

The Telegraph Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1EmayvO ) that Naderman sustained a black eye and chipped teeth in the encounter.

Police Chief Brad Koranda says Naderman’s 3-year-old son, his sister and two friends were at the apartment when the robbery occurred.

Koranda says the case remains under investigation.
