LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 16-year-old who was stabbed and killed during a fight that police say appeared to have been gang-related outside a McDonald’s restaurant at a busy northeast Las Vegas crossroads.

The Clark County coroner has classified the death late Sunday of Jim Alexander Leyton death as a homicide.

Police say no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made in the case.

Investigators say Leyton was walking with a family member near Owens and Eastern avenues when they were confronted by a group of males.

Police say passing drivers honked their horns during the fighting and the assailants ran away while Leyton collapsed and died.
