SEATTLE (AP) - Police in the Seattle suburb of Bellevue say a 17-year-old student accused of threatening to “shoot up” the International School told at least two other students about his plan. The boy has been arrested and booked for investigation of felony harassment.

King County prosecutors say they have a Thursday deadline to file charges. The high school senior was arrested Feb. 13.

The Seattle Times reports (https://is.gd/19WDL0 ) that court documents indicate the teen did not have guns but was selling items to get cash.

A police report says the boy told a fellow student on Feb. 10 that he would be “shooting up the school.” On Feb. 12, police say the suspect told the other student to “stay out of the line of fire” during the shooting planned for the next day, Feb. 13.

Bellevue police arrested the teen early on Feb. 13 at home. They say he told them he has few friends and has been bullied.

The school was closed that day. School officials have declined comment.
