LONG BEACH, Miss. (AP) - The U.S. Small Business Administration 18-state road tour will include a stop at the University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach the week of April 27-May 1.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1AkxuuH ) one of the other stops will be in Ruston, Louisiana.

The road tour, “Seeding America’s Future Innovations,” targets advanced technology communities, including women-owned and minority-owned small businesses in states that have underutilized funding opportunities through these programs.



Each Road Tour stop will be hosted by a local organization committed to supporting technology-based entrepreneurship, and will provide and provide an opportunity to talk directly to federal agency program managers and decision makers.

In Long Beach the organization host is MIST Cluster.
