The ‘90s rapper known as Vanilla Ice has been arrested and charged with burglary and grand theft for allegedly stealing an array of items from a vacant Florida home.

Lantana police told TMZ that furniture, a pool heater, bicycles and other items were stolen from the property in the 100 block of N. Atlantic Drive.

Vanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, was apparently looking to use the items in a home he was renovating nearby for his DIY Network reality show “The Vanilla Ice Project,” TMZ reported.

The stolen items were recovered after police executed a search warrant at a residence under the care and control of Mr. Van Winkle, police said.

Police said Mr. Van Winkle was still speaking with detectives Wednesday afternoon but was expected to be booked into the Palm Beach County jail. It was unknown if he has an attorney, NBC Miami reported.
