EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - A $1,000 reward is being offered to help find the person who shot an Everett woman’s small dog with a pellet gun.

Pasado’s Safe Haven says the dog was intentionally shot with a high-powered pellet gun at relatively close range. The Russell Terrier was in its backyard when it was shot on Feb. 8.

The animal’s owner, Tina Goehrs, tells KOMO-TV her dog is recovering at home after surgery.
