PORT ALLEN, La. (AP) - Authorities say at least 35 people have been arrested in an undercover drug sting in West Baton Rouge Parish on Thursday. Deputies say one of those arrested included a former teacher’s aide accused of selling her sick son’s prescription medications.

Col. Richie Johnson tells The Advocate (https://bit.ly/19IG91o ) 41-year-old Keashu King-Wright is accused of selling her son’s prescription medications to an undercover agent. Johnson says the drugs she’s accused of selling included Xanax, morphine, Valium, Seroquel, oxycodone and clonazepam.

He says the nine-month investigation targeted accused drug dealers across West Baton Rouge Parish.

Johnson says authorities expect to make 65 total arrests by Monday.

It was unclear whether King-Wright has an attorney.
