WEIRTON, W.Va. (AP) - A Weirton man faces charges of shooting his children with a BB gun to discipline them.
Weirton police tell media outlets that 35-year-old Joseph F. Majewski is charged with child abuse with serious bodily injury and domestic battery.
The children are 6, 9 and 13 years old. Police say all three children were taken Weirton Medical Center for treatment of injuries but didn’t provide details.
Majewski was being held Thursday at the Northern Regional Jail on $120,000 bond. Jail officers didn’t know whether he has an attorney. He is scheduled to appear in Hancock County Magistrate Court on Friday.
