CENTRALIA, Wash. (AP) - Twenty Centralia College athletes have been suspended from their sports for the season for attending a weekend party last month with underage drinking.
The baseball team has 11 players suspended. Other players are from the men’s and women’s basketball teams, and the women’s softball and volleyball teams. Coaches recommended the suspensions for code of conduct violations.
KOMO reports (https://is.gd/EFUWQn ) a total of 40 people were arrested for underage drinking at the Jan. 24 party at a rental home.
