PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Homicide detectives made an arrest Tuesday in the death of a man who was found with a head injury last October across the street from the Portland Rescue Mission.

The man carried no identification but he was later identified as William “Cougar” Burleigh. Reluctant witnesses told police he was involved in a confrontation and fell to the ground.

The Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1Kcc7A0 ) 42-year-old Robert Lewis Browne was arrested on assault and manslaughter charges.
