EASTON, Pa. (AP) - John Papale scored 14 points and Boston University led the entire game to beat Lafayette 74-60 on Monday.

Papale hit 4 of 8 of 3-point attempts. Cheddi Mosely and Eric Fanning had 13 apiece, and Nathan Dieudonne added 10. The Terriers shot 52 percent from the floor and was 10 of 29 from beyond the arc.

Boston U (10-13, 6-6 Patriot) built a 10-0 lead after three minutes, and held a 48-39 advantage at intermission.

Lafayette narrowed the gap to four points less than a minute into the second half on Joey Ptasinski’s 3-pointer, but Boston U responded with a 13-5 run, capped by Blaise Mbargorba’s dunk, and cruised down the stretch.

Dan Trist led Lafayette (14-9, 6-6) with 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting. Seth Hinrichs had 12 points and Bryce Scott added 10.
