PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Court records say a man who couldn’t buy a single cigarette at a Portland deli referred to the owner as a Jew and threatened to blow up the store “in the name of Allah.”

KOIN reports (https://bit.ly/1wb3tsc ) police arrested 19-year-old Abdalah Mohamed on Friday on charges of second-degree intimidation.

The Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1wb3Kv8 ) he pleaded not guilty Monday at his arraignment.

Records show the incident took place last July at Ira’s Deli where Mohamed wanted to buy a single cigarette. The clerk said they were sold only in packs.

Court documents say Mohamed threatened to blow up the store and made other threats.
