LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas are looking for several people who investigators believe were in an apartment where a man was found shot to death.

Officer Larry Hadfield said Tuesday no suspects were immediately identified and the motive wasn’t immediately known following the slaying about 6:40 p.m. Monday in an apartment on Jackson Avenue.

Police say officers responding to a report of an argument and gunfire found the man dead in the residence in the West Las Vegas neighborhood.

The dead man’s identity wasn’t immediately made public, and it wasn’t clear if the people being sought were witnesses or suspects.

Police say the dead man’s Chevrolet SUV was found by patrol officers a short time later on Bonanza Road near Rancho Drive, less than 2 miles from the shooting scene.
