DOVER, Del. (AP) - Authorities say the treasurer of a Kent County volunteer fire company has been arrested on child pornography charges.
Officials said an investigation by the state child predator task force led to the arrest of 64-year-old Edward Angwin on Thursday after a search of his home in Little Creek.
Authorities say an examination of Angwin’s computers turned up images of child pornography. He was charged with 10 counts of dealing in child pornography and was being held at the state prison in Smyrna in lieu of $200,000 secured bond.
Angwin is a longtime member of the Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company, which he has served as treasurer for the past couple of years. Fire Chief Michael Scott Bundek said Angwin was immediately placed on administrative leave after his arrest.
