FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) - Residents in the Ferguson-Florissant school district will be asked to approve a $31 million bond issue on April 7.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports (https://bit.ly/1ymR7S2 ) the bond issue would not require a tax rate increase. If it is approved by a four-sevenths majority of voters, the revenue would be used for building needs, security and technology improvements.

Voters approved a 50 cent operating tax increase in August and a $25 million bond issue in 2010.
