GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A former Great Falls financial planner has been found guilty of deliberate homicide in shooting death of a Fairfield resident.

Martin Lau shot Donald Kline during a fight at Kline’s house in 2012. Lau testified that he shot Kline in self-defense and that he believed his actions were justified because Kline attacked him.

According to the Great Falls Tribune (https://tinyurl.com/o6xr5v9 ), Lau said he believed Kline was about to kill or seriously injure either him or Susan Pfeifer who was Kline’s longtime girlfriend.
