SEAFORD, Del. (AP) - Officials say a fire has heavily damaged a renovated chicken house in Seaford which stored wood-working equipment and several vehicles.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says the blaze in the 400-foot-long structure was reported about 4 p.m. Thursday. Water tankers were used to take water to the structure.

No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $750,000.

The fire marshal’s office says the fire began outside the building, where hot wood stove ashes were discarded.
