LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A Union College gymnast who fell 23 feet Wednesday night remains hospitalized in critical condition.
The Lincoln Journal Star reports (https://bit.ly/17UiE4y ) that 23-year-old Heather Boulais, Laguna Niguel, California, remained hospitalized Saturday. Her family has chosen not to release more information about her medical condition.
The college has said Boulais was preparing to practice on a suspended rope in the school’s gym just before 8 p.m. Wednesday when she fell.
Union College is a four-year college that’s owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
