SEATTLE (AP) - University of Washington police have alerted faculty, staff and Seattle campus students after a female student reported that a male tried to have forcible sex with her after a fraternity party and after she had been given a drink that left her feeling “very strange.”

The Seattle Times reports (https://is.gd/gd61he ) that campus police say three other young women who attended the same frat party told police their beverages may have been spiked.

The female student says she felt coerced into accepting a ride back to her residence hall early Friday morning from a male who had attended the same party. Police say she was offered a drink while in the car that she says left her feeling “very strange and no longer in control of her body.”

She says she was driven to a parking lot where the man tried to have forcible unwanted sex with her. She told police she was able to get away.

Police didn’t identify the fraternity.
