BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) - A Beaverton teen who was recorded in her bedroom by a hidden camera says the neighbor who secretly spied on her is getting off too easy.

Madison Reed was recorded over four years beginning when she was 13 by one-time family friend Bradley McCollum.

The 48-year-old pleaded guilty Tuesday in Washington County Circuit Court to charges of burglary and invasion of personal privacy. As part of a plea bargain he’s expected to be sentenced March 10 to two years in prison.

Prosecutors said they did not have enough evidence to prove he was guilty of a sex crime.

Reed is now 18 years old and spoke to KGW (https://bit.ly/1z2NEKg) with the consent of her parents. They want hidden camera crimes to be considered sexual offenses with stiffer penalties.
