OKMULGEE, Okla. (AP) - Creek Nation Principal Chief George Tiger is scheduled to deliver his annual state of the nation address this weekend.
The address is set Saturday at the Creek Nation Mound Auditorium in Okmulgee. The event is free and open to the public.
Tiger is in his fourth year as chief, and tribal leaders say recent accomplishments have been made in health, housing, employment, economic development and transferring property into Indian trust status.
