CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Casey Jones scored 18 and tied a career high with 13 rebounds to lead Chattanooga to a 66-60 win over Western Carolina on Thursday night.

Justin Tuoyo had 15 points and a career-high nine blocks for Chattanooga (10-7, 3-1 Southern Conference). Ronrico White and Eric Robertson added 11 points apiece.

Devin Peterson made a layup with 8:28 left to pull Western Carolina (7-9, 2-2) within three, 50-47, but the Catamounts would go the next 5:08 without a field goal and Chattanooga used an 11-2 run over that span to open a 12-point lead with 4 minutes to play.

Western Carolina wouldn’t get closer than eight until Rhett Harrelson’s 3-pointer with 11 seconds remaining closed the scoring.

Chattanooga shot 52 percent and limited Western Carolina to 8-of-34 shooting (23.5 percent) in the first half in taking a 33-24 halftime lead.

James Sinclair led the Catamounts with 18 points.
