ATLANTA (AP) - The director of the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services has announced leadership changes for the agency.

Division Director Bobby Cagle says Virginia Pryor has been appointed to serve as the division’s deputy director for child welfare. Officials say Pryor comes to the agency with 20 years of experience in child welfare and social policy.

Jon Anderson, who currently works as deputy chief of Medicaid at the Department of Community Health, will being working Feb. 1 as deputy director of family independence.

Carol Christopher has been named as the agency’s deputy director for system reform. Officials say Christopher has served as the agency’s deputy director since 2013.
