THORNTON, Colo. (AP) - Police in Thornton are searching for two suspects after an apparent road rage shooting in the parking lot of a Home Depot store that left a man wounded.

Officer Matt Barnes says the victim, a 33-year-old man, told police his car and the suspects’ truck nearly hit each other as they were entering the lot. He says he parked and was confronted by the truck’s passenger, who fired a gunshot that hit him in the head.

Barnes says the man was taken to a hospital and his condition was not available.

Police are looking for two men who fled in a black Toyota pickup truck with possible damage to the front bumper. Barnes says detectives are looking for surveillance footage that may have captured the attack.
