IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - Law enforcement officials have released the names of the sheriff’s deputies and police officers involved in the shooting of an Idaho Falls man.

The Post Register reports (https://bit.ly/1HwZCSg ) on Tuesday, Sheriff Paul Wilde named Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office deputies Nick Contreras, Austin Flegel and trainee Chris Rix as all responding to the scene where 31-year-old Ricky L. Mosley was shot. Officers Bart Whiting and Dan Godfrey responded as backup.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched Monday morning after a report that a man had hit a pregnant woman.

Deputies stopped Mosley, who they thought was the suspect, in his vehicle. According to a news release, he was uncooperative and his actions led officers to fire their weapons.

The officers have been placed on paid administrative leave.

Mosley was in critical condition Monday.
