SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - A Sacramento food truck owner whose dog and business mascot was fatally shot when his house was burglarized is still looking for a suspect.

The Sacramento Bee reports (https://bit.ly/1Hui3ox ) Andrew Blaskovich, owner of Drewski’s Food Truck, said Tuesday that he’s received a great deal of support from the community since the burglary Saturday night.

His 2 ½ year old Great Dane, Rex, was found dead with a wound to the chest. Blaskovich says the Front Street Animal Shelter and the Sacramento Police Department are examining Rex’s body for clues.

Blaskovich is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. He created a GoFundMe account online that raised $425 as of Tuesday.

Blaskovich says people have offered him a new dog, but he just isn’t ready for one.
