WEST CHESTER, Ohio (AP) - A 23-year-old woman has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and other counts in a southwest Ohio crash that injured several utility workers.

West Chester Township police say they filed charges against Michele Schuster of Cincinnati after completing their investigation of the April 22 accident. Schuster was arrested Tuesday and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 7 in Butler County on counts that also include three charges of aggravated vehicular assault and operating a vehicle while impaired.

She was being held Wednesday on bonds totaling about $305,000. No attorney information was available.

Police say the Chevrolet Cavalier swerved across center line, hitting Duke Energy subcontractor workers. Twenty-four-old Amber Rooks of Norwood died May 2 of injuries from the accident. Four other workers from Ohio and Kentucky were also injured.
