SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a 20-year-old man shot in the head during a triple shooting at a Fourth of July party at a Syracuse park has died.

Syracuse police say Azhawn Harvey died Thursday night at Upstate University Hospital. He had been hospitalized since Saturday’s shooting.

An 18-year-old woman and 17-year-old boy were also shot and suffered injuries that aren’t life-threatening. Police say the three victims were socializing at Thornden Park when the gunfire rang out.

Authorities say a 16-year-old boy charged in the shooting could face additional charges. He’s being held in the Jamesville Correctional Facility in lieu of $750,000 bail.
