NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Norman police have arrested a woman who they say shot and wounded a man.

Police spokesman Capt. Tom Easley says officers found the man Thursday night at a Norman home. They say he was shot once with a small-caliber handgun and was taken to an area hospital.

His identity hasn’t been released and his condition is unclear.

The 54-year-old Norman woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Easley declined to comment on the relationship between the man and the woman or provide additional details about the case until formal charges are filed.

No other injuries were reported.
