FERRISBURGH, Vt. (AP) - About 100 bicyclists turned out for memorial ride in memory of a doctor who was struck by a car and killed while riding his bike last month in Ferrisburgh.

The Burlington Free Press reports (https://bfpne.ws/1HV5jrn ) that the bicyclists rode a 13-mile loop on Friday evening. Dozens were friends and co-workers of 60-year-old Dr. Kenneth Najarian.

The driver of the car - 36-year-old Holly Gonyeau of Ferrisburgh - is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday afternoon.



The night of the crash on June 17 Gonyeau was charged with driving under the influence - a misdemeanor.
