ST. LOUIS (AP) - Authorities have arrested a suspect in the shooting of a 24-year-old man in St. Louis.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1guCK9V ) reports that Marquis Strickland was struck multiple times Friday night in his back, thigh, abdomen and triceps. Police say he was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the suspect had an ongoing feud with the victim. The suspect told police he fired after observing Strickland reach for his waistband. Police say the suspect pursued and continued to fire at Strickland as the victim attempted to flee. No firearm was found in Strickland’s possession.

Police say a second suspect also was arrested after shooting into a nearby vehicle.
