SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (AP) - Police say a third man suspected of robbing a South Jordan smoke shop and beating a clerk with a rock is in custody.
KSL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1NYiCY8) that 20-year-old Gage King turned himself over to South Jordan police Saturday afternoon.
He has been booked into Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of robbery.
Police say King, Brandon Dvorak and Cole Covington, who are all in their 20s, are shown in surveillance video attacking the smoke shop Monday.
Authorities say King, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, is accused of beating the clerk while the other two failed to stop him or render aid.
The clerk suffered a broken jaw, multiple facial fractures and other head injuries.
Police say the 33-year-old clerk has since been released from the hospital.
