LIVINGSTON, La. (AP) - A Livingston man has been arrested on 500 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles and 50 counts of distribution of child pornography.

The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office says in a news release that 40-year-old Anthony Thomas Kurtz faces a maximum sentence of 20 years on each count, if convicted.

Attorney General’s Office says investigators found thousands of images of child sexual abuse on a computer belonging to Kurtz.

Kurtz also faces one count of failing to register as a sex offender.
