YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) - A 20-year-old man has been shot to death at an Ypsilanti block party attended by more than 100 people.

The Ann Arbor News reports (https://bit.ly/1fAxdym ) that police were called to the area shortly after midnight Sunday.

Keandre Duff was shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Police say the block party developed spontaneously. No arrests have been reported.

The newspaper says Duff was sentenced last month to probation on drug charges.

He had spent nearly 300 days in jail on a murder charge in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Keon Washington at a party last summer. Prosecutors said that charge was dropped due to insufficient evidence.
