Florida homeowner find horse’s body on his property

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - A central Florida homeowner has made a gruesome discovery on his property - a dead horse.

Deputies located the horse’s owner who said the horse was struck by lightning and suffered serious injuries. He admitted leaving his animal on the victim’s property earlier this month.

Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies said Friday the horse’s owner was charged with illegal dumping.
