NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) - Police have arrested a homeless man for making bomb threats to three courthouses in Newport News.

Michael Lamont Jennings was also charged Friday with 23 counts of annoying phone calls, five counts of threats on the phone and three counts of falsely summoning police.

On Wednesday, dispatchers received a bomb threat and evacuated the local courthouses and closed off nearby roads. Less than two hours later, the courthouses reopened.
