OKMULGEE, Okla. (AP) - Okmulgee County emergency managers are opening a mobile disaster recovery center to help residents and business owners affected by the severe storms that moved through the area in May and June.

The center will be set up at the Green Country Technology Center and will open July 23-28 and again between Aug. 6-11.

The mobile recovery units allow people affected by the storms to get information and guidance about what disaster assistance they may be eligible for.

Information from the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Small Business Administration and other federal agencies and volunteer organizations also will be available at the centers.
