BOULDER CITY, Nev. (AP) - A woman was injured at Lake Mead after the vehicle she was driving struck another car at an entrance.

The National Park Service says the incident happened around 5 p.m. Friday at the Lake Mead Parkway entrance station.

According to a news release, a station ranger reported that the vehicle failed to yield at the entrance station and drove into a vehicle that was stopped at the window.

The woman was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where she is in stable condition.

The other driver declined medical treatment.

The two lanes leading to the entrance had to be closed and caused delays the rest of the evening.

The National Park Service and Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
