ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Police say a 3-year-old girl has fallen to her death from the fifth floor of a Southern California hotel in what appears to be a tragic accident.
The Orange County Register reports (https://bit.ly/1SvEifH ) that the girl fell from a fifth-floor corridor walkway inside the Embassy Suites in Anaheim at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
She was rushed to a local trauma center, where she was pronounced dead.
Anaheim police spokesman Eric Trapp says the incident appears to be a “very tragic accident” and that the family is mourning their loss.
