Kansas crews search for man who fell from boat while fishing

EL DORADO, Kan. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a 26-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since falling out of a boat in south-central Kansas.

KWCH-TV (https://bit.ly/1HJ9uD8 ) reports that the man was fishing with a friend Sunday morning when he went into the water at El Dorado’s Riverview Park. The friend never saw the man resurface and called 911.

Lt. John Stewart with the El Dorado Police Department says the El Dorado Lake dumps into the Walnut River. Crews have been searching on foot downstream, and helicopters have been launched to help in the search.
