NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police say a 41-year-old man died when his motorcycle hit a shopping cart on a six-lane highway and he was thrown from the motorcycle.
Officer Garry Flot says the New Orleans man was riding north about 12:30 a.m. Sunday on South Carrollton Avenue near a big discount store.
His name is being withheld until his family can be notified.
Routine toxicology tests are being performed and an autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
