ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities have identified a man who was shot to death inside a nightclub in southwest Atlanta.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (https://on-ajc.com/1f5mD2d ) that the Fulton County medical examiner’s office on Thursday identified the man as 25-year-old Clarence Carter of Fairburn.
Police say the shooting happened around 4 a.m. Wednesday at the Blue Ivory Restaurant & Lounge.
Atlanta police Lt. Charles Hampton told the newspaper Wednesday that police weren’t sure of the motive behind the shooting but they did believe Carter was the intended target.
Atlanta police Sgt. Greg Lyon said early Thursday no arrests had been made.
