MALDEN, Mass. (AP) - A worker at a Malden car wash has died after being struck by a vehicle using the facility.

The Middlesex district attorney’s office says 28-year-old Jose Tobias-Valle of Everett was struck at about 9 a.m. Sunday when a vehicle exiting a washing bay at Sonny’s Car Wash struck him as he worked on another vehicle outside.

He was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital where he was pronounced dead.



Malden police, state police and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating. No one has been charged.
