SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (AP) - A suburban Detroit man has been charged in the shooting of another man trying to repossess his vehicle.
Southfield police say 69-year-old Henry Anderson was arraigned Friday on assault with intent to commit murder and using a firearm during a felony charges.
A 44-year-old Southgate man was shot in the leg around 5:30 a.m. Thursday outside a Southfield home. Police recovered a handgun.
Anderson was ordered held Friday on a $100,000 bond. A Sept. 14 preliminary examination conference was scheduled.
The Associated Press was unable to determine if Anderson has a lawyer.
