ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia is waiving state sales taxes this weekend so students, parents and teachers can shop for school supplies.

The tax-free shopping period runs Friday through Saturday.

WSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1OF0J17 ) tax-exempt items include clothing worth less than $100 per item, computers and computer software priced $1,000 or less. People can also buy school supplies worth $20 or less.
