LOGAN, W.Va. (AP) - A new circuit judge in Logan County is due to start work.
William Douglas Witten is scheduled to be sworn in Friday at the Logan County Courthouse.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin appointed Witten in early July to replace the retired Roger L. Perry.
Witten is a West Virginia University law school graduate. He has served in private practice and is a former assistant prosecutor in Logan County.
