FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Fargo and Moorhead, Minnesota, in a dispute over a toll bridge between the two cities.

A district court judge last year awarded ownership of the bridge to the cities, after a 25-year lease agreement between the Bridge Company and the cities expired. The owners appealed, arguing that the bridge was still in debt and had a right to an extension to recoup losses.

KFGO radio reports that justices upheld the district judge’s decision.
